When we fit new tyres, we take your old ones away and send them for responsible recycling, so you do not need to store them or take them to a tip. Waste tyres must be handled by licensed carriers in the UK, and recycled tyres are turned into products such as surfacing, matting and fuel.
Tyres do not break down in landfill, and in the UK whole tyres are banned from landfill. They must go to a licensed waste carrier so they can be reused, recycled or recovered rather than dumped.
We take the old tyres with us when the job is done.

FAQ
Yes. We remove your old tyres during the fitting and recycle them responsibly, so you do not need to arrange disposal or take them to a tip yourself.
Call us to ask. Our tyre removal is designed around fitting jobs, but we can tell you whether we can collect loose tyres from your area and what it would cost.
Waste tyres are shredded or granulated and reused in products such as playground and sports surfaces, flooring, matting and road materials, or recovered as fuel. Part-worn tyres in good, legal condition may be safely reused after inspection.
