Most punctures from a nail or screw in the middle of the tread can be repaired safely. We come to your car, take the tyre off the wheel, check it inside and out, and repair it if the damage is in the repairable zone. If the hole is in the sidewall or shoulder, or the tyre is damaged inside, we fit a new tyre instead.
Under the British Standard for car tyre repairs (BS AU 159), a puncture can only be repaired if it is in the central three-quarters of the tread, no wider than 6 mm, and the tyre has no other damage. Sidewall and shoulder damage cannot be repaired.
If it can be repaired safely, we repair it - we do not upsell a tyre you do not need.
We remove the tyre to inspect the inside, where hidden damage shows.
If a repair is not safe, we show you why and quote for a replacement.

FAQ
We repair a puncture on site when the damage sits in the repairable part of the tread. Sidewall damage and most run-flat damage cannot be repaired safely, so in those cases we fit a replacement tyre and explain exactly why before we start.
Only for a very short distance at low speed, and only if the tyre still holds some air. Driving on a soft tyre heats and damages the sidewall from the inside, which can turn a cheap repair into a new tyre. The safest option is to stop and call us out.
Usually not. Most run-flat manufacturers advise against repairing a run-flat that has been driven on while deflated, because the internal damage cannot always be seen. We inspect the tyre and tell you honestly whether it can be repaired or needs replacing.
No. Sealant and plug kits are emergency get-you-home fixes. Sealant can also make a proper repair harder. Have the tyre inspected and properly repaired or replaced as soon as possible - we can come to you and do it on the spot.
